Calipawz Pet Service is an in home pet service serving the Bakersfield, CA area. We COME to your house where your pet is most secure, we SIT with them a while, and they get to STAY where they feel the most comfortable. Calipawz was started because of an unpleasant experience at a boarding facility a couple years ago when we had to leave our little pup home to attend my son's out of town wedding. I vowed never again to use a boarding facility or kennel and after talking with several people decided to start my business.
Goal
Calipawz is licensed and insured and responsible. Referrals are certainly availale upon request. Our goal is to make your pets as comfortable as possible and to feel like it's another day and not like they've been left behind. We understand that there are times when you cannot take your pets with you when you leave, thats ok, we're here. Free family or friends from the task of driving to your house and taking time from their busy schedule's to care for your animals and let us take care of them in a professional,responsible, and loving manner.
Services provided
Up to twice daily visits, morning and evening, to feed/water, give potty break, yard/house poop patrol, exercise or interaction for up to 30 mins depending on the needs of the client/pet, we can also water indoor plants, mail/newspaper retrieval, security checks of windows and doors for tampering, adjustments of lights, radio or t.v to make the home appear occupied. Dog walking can be included in the exercise portion of the visit. Beginning July 1st, 2009 a fee of $15 will apply if the animal run's out of food during my time of service, and will be added to the amount paid for replacement food. Same brand/type of food will be purchased or the most similar available. Please make sure you have plenty of food for your animals prior to your departure.
Other pets
In addition to dogs and cats, we also care for rabbits,fish,hamsters,turtles,birds and many other domesticated animals. We do not have the experience to handle reptiles in any way so please do not ask.
